We have been touring around over the last few days. We left Salzburg and drove to Konigsee and Kehlstein (Hitler's Mountain retreat) and then to Innsbruck and on to Neuschwanstein and finally Munich. The scenery in Austria was spectacular although a little cloudy. The mountains are so high they seem unreal. Tomorrow we head from Munich back to London and down to Santorini in Greece. (Hello 34K-no I didn't buy any puppets-but they were cute.)
The hills are alive with the sound of music and the laughter of you two hillbillies. Haha. These photos bring back some wonderful memories of touring with young Alan and of the many local lagers that are in abundance thru the villages and towns. Ask at the Innsbruk Hotel if a young girl called Heidi still works there - she hasn't rung me since 1984????? She may have lost my number or something I think. Gutentag to you both and don't stop with the great photos. we all miss you xxx
